The Green Man Festival is held in the glorious setting of the Glanusk Park Estate. Surrounded by the River Usk, Glanusk Park is set in over 20,000 acres of rolling parkland in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Glanusk is filled with history. From Celtic standing stones to a historic family chapel, from the Tower Bridge to the Stable Courtyard, Glanusk is a world apart and a truly magical festival setting.

THE AMPITHEATRE
The festival is unique to the site and takes place against the majestic backdrop of the Sugar Loaf Mountain. The Main Stage is located in the grassed Ampitheatre, and at night transforms into a magical glade filled with twinkling lights and art installations. Anyone who saw Robert Plant performing 'Whole Lotta Love' will know how intoxicating the atmosphere becomes.

FAR OUT STAGE
Staged inside a fairy-tale circus tent, the Far Out Stage brings out the best in everyone who performs there. Over the years acts including Battles, Lightspeed Champion, The Accidental, Black Mountain, Cave Singers, Caribou and Emmy The Great have taken the roof off with the weight of their grooves. A great place to discover new emerging talent.

THE STABLES
The Stables is situated at the heart of the site, and is a great place to meet friends or make new ones. The friendly Stables Bar offers a wide range of drinks from cocktails to fine ale and everything in between. Tables and chairs are located in the courtyard, so come sit back and soak up the vibe.

CAMP FIRE FIELD
At night, the communal bonfires are lit, encourage campfire songs and general bonhomie. A perfect place to meet new people and reflect on the days activities, or recharge your batteries before hitting the Rumpus Room dance tent! Local farmers stock wood for the campfire, which runs from dusk till dawn on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. Big logs are arranged around the campfire so that people can sit comfortably while playing or listening to an acoustic set or those just wanting to sit near the warmth and light of the fire. Other activities include barn dancing, celighs and capoeira.
Far Out After Dark is located in the Far Out Tent in the Camp Fire Field, with DJs keeping the party going till late.
The new End Up Bar late night piano bar is just beside the Far Out Tent in the Camp Fire Field. Spiced cider and mulled wine are served in this area until 5am in the morning, also a range of fine malt whisky and selection of quality wine.
The Institute of Physics in Wales boffins are set up in the Science Tent. Screens are installed in the Film Tent showing a range of short arts films and cutting edge documentaries.

FAR OUT AFTER DARK
After relaxing in the day, this DJ stage really comes alive in the evening with DJs playing through night with everything from dub-reggae to electro and stoner-rock.
Amongst those playing over the course of the weekend will be The Amorphous Androgynous (AKA Future Sound Of London) taking you on a Monstrous Psychedelic Bubble Exploding In Your Mind for 7 hours of life changing experiences!

LITTLE FOLK (CHILDRENS) AREA
The new enlarged childrens area is set in a safe and welcoming environment, and includes activities ranging from music workshops to puppet shows, science experiments to arts and crafts.

EINSTEIN'S GARDEN
A place for the unexpected, Einstein's Garden is situated between the Gothic Stone Stables and the Rose Garden and Waterfall. Solar Milk Float Stage (comedy, open mic), and stalls for the Tools for Self Reliance, Welsh Language, Soil Association, Pants to Poverty (swap your pants for organic ones) and Oxfam Stalls are set up in this area. The Green Field features a solar-powered milk float stage, and the chance to exchange ideas, whether musical, environmental or humourous.

NATURE AND NURTURE MASSAGE AND THERAPY AREA
The Nature and Nurture area is located in a little hidden garden filled with lavender between the Rose Garden and Walled Garden. Therapists offer a diverse range of therapies and massage such as Gong Showers, Chinese massage, Association of Radical Midwives, Thai massage, Reflexology, Energising Massage, Indian Head Massage, Acupuncture and many others alternative therapies. Try some of the more unusual and exotic for a truly out-of-body experience.
BARS
There are a variety of bars with their own atmosphere and 24 licensing hours - the only bars at a UK festival with that capacity!! The cloudy cider has proved the staple drink at previous Green Man's and is responsible for an awful lot of dancing and all-round goodwill.

FOOD AND MARKET STALLS
The Festival has an incredible array of locally sourced organic food, as well as food from around the world including Morrocan, Goan, Indian, Chinese, Spanish and South American cuisine.
Stalls also sell a wide range of goods, knickknacks, clothes, toys, jewelry, ukuleles, general provisions, bubble machines, camping supplies, music from most of the artists performing at the festival, candle powered steam boats and many other items which you may find either useful or useless - but always original!

MAGICAL LIGHTING
4,350 metres of garland lighting is strung around Glanusk Park, and coloured lights are carefully placed in the Lime Tree Walk in front of the Walled Garden, Rose Garden, Waterfall and Pond so the festival looks as magical at night as it does in the day.
CAMPING AREAS
Camping areas are located in a former deer park with ancient Oaks and wonderful views of the Brecon Hills. Also available are areas for disabled visitors and those with live-in vehicles. All camping areas are on flat ground and near the entertainment areas. Camping is divided into family, general, quiet and holiday areas.
HOT SHOWERS AND TOILETS
The festival site has hot showers and plenty of toilets, which are cleaned twice daily.
